1. What we know — and why

📌 you intentionally share Account essentials (email, brand name, industry) and creative input (style keywords, color palettes, uploaded reference images). This is the raw material for your logo designs.

📌 observed usage Feature interactions (which templates you test, how you adjust AI prompts, export frequency). These help us understand design patterns and improve suggestions — always in aggregated form.

📌 derived preferences With your continued use, we may associate anonymized vectors such as “prefers minimalist icons” or “often uses serif fonts”. These stay in your account profile and can be reset at any time via privacy settings.

2. Purpose compass

• Generate & refine: Your prompts and uploaded visuals are processed in real time to create unique logo drafts — we do not store them beyond your active projects unless you save them.
• Continuity across devices: We keep your project history, undo steps, and workspace preferences so your work follows you when you log in from another browser.
• Service improvement (anonymized): Patterns like “users often modify the stroke weight after generation” guide our AI updates — no individual designer is identified.
• Safety & integrity: Monitoring for unusual API activity, duplicate abuse, or potential security incidents.

3. When information leaves our systems

🚫 no sale We do not — and will not — sell any personal data. Limited sharing happens only in these contexts:

• Cloud & content delivery: AWS (Frankfurt) and image optimization partners process data on our behalf, under strict data processing agreements.
• Payment processors: For subscription transactions, your payment details go directly to Stripe or PayPal — we only receive confirmation and the last four digits.
• Legal obligations: If we receive a binding court order or need to prevent immediate harm (e.g., generation of illegal content), we may disclose necessary information.

4. How long we keep data — and how we shield it

Retention periods: Account details: kept until you delete your account (plus a 30-day backup). Design projects: if you delete a project, it's purged within 90 days. Anonymized usage logs: up to 14 months for trend analysis.

Protection measures: TLS 1.3 for all transmissions, AES-256 for stored assets. Access to production data requires temporary credentials + hardware two-factor, and every access is logged and audited.

5. Your controls & rights

• 🔍 Access your data: Visit Account → Privacy → “Request data export” to receive a machine-readable archive (JSON) of your profile and projects, delivered within 72h.
• 📝 Update or correct: Brand name, email, and preferences can be edited directly in settings. For AI-specific preference profiles, use the “reset style memory” button.
• 🗑️ Erasure: Delete individual designs or your whole account from the “Advanced” panel. Some anonymized interaction records may persist in analytics but are no longer linked to you.
• 📧 Withdraw consent: If you previously agreed to receive inspiration newsletters, one click on “unsubscribe” in any email — or toggle “marketing communications” off in your dashboard.

6. Local storage and identifiers

We store small pieces of data in your browser (like your session token, workspace zoom level, and recently used color palettes) to make the app feel seamless. These are not used for cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser storage may reset some preferences but won't affect your saved projects.

7. Note about younger users

LogoWiz is not directed to individuals under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental consent, contact us immediately — we will delete the data within one business day. Our support team is trained to handle such requests sensitively.

8. When we update this notice

If we make significant changes (for example, introducing a new AI model that requires a different data practice), we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance and via an in-app announcement. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
