This notice explains in plain language how Puzzle Feast handles your information. Sort delicious hotpot ingredients, match plates, and progress through hundreds of cozy ASMR sorting levels where your strategy and careful planning decide your success. Whether you are just starting your food sorting adventure or tackling harder difficulty tiers, the following explains our privacy commitments and your choices.

1. What we know — and why

📌 derived preferences With continued play, we may associate anonymized preference signals such as favored ingredient types, common sorting strategies, or level difficulty trends. These help us tune progression and can be reset where privacy settings are available.

2. Purpose compass

Run the game: We process level progress, unlocks, temporary slot usage, and save data so core gameplay works properly.
Continuity across devices: We keep your account state, progress, settings, and preferences so your play can continue when you sign in on another device.
Service improvement (anonymized): Patterns like failed levels, common sorting paths, and level clear rates guide balance updates and content tuning — no individual player is identified.
Safety & integrity: Monitoring for unusual API activity, duplicate abuse, or potential security incidents.

3. When information leaves our systems

🚫 no sale We do not — and will not — sell any personal data. Limited sharing happens only in these contexts:

Cloud & content delivery: AWS (Frankfurt) and image optimization partners process data on our behalf, under strict data processing agreements.
Payment processors: For subscription transactions, your payment details go directly to Stripe or PayPal — we only receive confirmation and the last four digits.
Legal obligations: If we receive a binding court order or need to prevent immediate harm (e.g., generation of illegal content), we may disclose necessary information.

⭐ Your gameplay stays yours: Your save progress, account-linked preferences, and gameplay records are not shared with third parties for marketing. We use them only to operate, secure, and improve the Puzzle Feast experience.

4. How long we keep data — and how we shield it

Retention periods: Account details: kept until you delete your account (plus a 30-day backup). Gameplay progress and cloud saves: retained while your account remains active. Anonymized usage logs: up to 14 months for trend analysis and live-ops balancing.

Protection measures: TLS 1.3 for all transmissions, AES-256 for stored assets. Access to production data requires temporary credentials + hardware two-factor, and every access is logged and audited.

5. Your controls & rights

🔍 Access your data: Visit Account → Privacy → “Request data export” to receive a machine-readable archive (JSON) of your profile and gameplay-related account data, delivered within 72h.
📝 Update or correct: Player name, email, and preferences can be edited directly in settings. Where supported, you can also reset gameplay preference data tied to your account.
🗑️ Erasure: Delete your account from the “Advanced” panel or contact support. Some anonymized interaction records may persist in analytics but are no longer linked to you.
📧 Withdraw consent: If you previously agreed to receive marketing messages or event notices, use “unsubscribe” in any email or turn off those communications in settings.

6. Local storage and identifiers

We store small pieces of data on your device or in your browser (like your session token, graphics or audio preferences, and recent login state) to make the game feel seamless. These are not used for cross-site tracking. Clearing local storage may reset some preferences but may not remove cloud saves linked to your account.

7. Note about younger users

Puzzle Feast is not directed to individuals under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental consent, contact us immediately — we will delete the data within one business day. Our support team is trained to handle such requests sensitively.

8. When we update this notice

If we make significant changes (for example, introducing a new feature that requires a different data practice), we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance and via an in-app announcement. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
